These scanners come in various models: KDC480C (2D imager), KDC480L (1D laser), or KDC480D (1D CCD), ensuring compatibility with all popular barcode types. The KDC480 features a forward-facing scan engine, while the KDC485 has downward-angled engines for easier scanning of lower-positioned barcodes. The KDC485 also offers three read ranges—standard (KDC485H), medium (KDC485MR), and extended (KDC485ER)—to suit different scanning needs.

The KDC480/485 connects wirelessly to the Tab Active5 via Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 and features a rechargeable, removable 1010mAh battery. Single and multi-slot charging cradles are available to simultaneously charge both the Tab Active5 and the SmartSled, making it suitable for operations of any size in virtually any industry

With a modular architecture, the KDC480/485 facilitates the attachment of multiple accessories, expanding the functionality of your SmartSled. These companions include short and long-range UHF Readers, an HF (NFC) Reader, a 2,000mAh Extended Battery, a Pistol Grip with an optional 6,000mAh Extended Battery, as well as two mPOS options.
