Play back and confirm the high quality videos from your drive on the large 3.0” full color screen. Thanks to the intuitive GUI including large and legible text, operations can be performed with ease.

4K Recording — 2 times as many pixels as Wide Quad HD
With its 8.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, DRV-A601W captures 4K video at 30fps,more then 2 times as many pixels as Wide Quad HD, making super-high resolution recording and replay possible.

Wireless Smartphone Link (Wireless LAN)
The KENWOOD DASH CAM MANAGER app allows you to easily change the menu settings of your dash cam (DRV-A700W/ DRV-A601W/ DRV-A501W) and browse through your videos from your smartphone in an intuitive way. On your smartphone you can check recorded videos as well as realtime live view. By downloading the video / photo files into your smartphone, you can even review them while routing on Google Maps with the GPS information such as speed, G-sensor and distance, and edit the videos to share them in social media. Download the app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) on your smartphone.

HDR (High Dynamic Range)
HDR helps to reduce “blown out highlights” and “crushed blacks” and ensure clear images in challenging environments, including backlit scenes in daylight, streetlight scenes at night and places where light-dark contrast is particularly severe, such as at tunnel entrances/exits.

3-axis G Sensor & GPS receiver
The built-in 3-axis G Sensor with adjustable sensitivity detects an outside force, forcing the device to save what has just been recorded. In addition, the GPS Receiver allows your videos to add location and speed data..

Smart Parking Mode
When your vehicle is parked and turned off, the Smart Parking Mode becomes active. If your vehicle is subject to a collision or other physical impacts, your dash cam powers on thanks to the built-in G-Sensor and automatically records 30 seconds of video. The hardwire kit CA-DR1030 (optional accessory) is required for permanent power.

Super Capacitor (Backup Battery)
This prevents the video file being recorded from being corrupted if power is lost due to a collision or other physical impacts, as it provides enough power to allow the file to save properly.

2-Ways to Mount
A suction-cup and an adhesive mount are included in the package. The suction mount makes it easier to attach and detach from the windshield while the adhesive mount provides more solid support for the camera.

Quick Release Magnetic Mount
The patent-designed magnetic mount, unlike the traditional mounts which use a latching mechanism, allows you to place and remove the device simply and instantly. No cable to connect or disconnect from the dash cam.

Polarizer Filter — Reduces Front Windscreen Reflection
DRV-A700W/ DRV-A601W/ DRV-A501W include a Polarizer Filter. This reduces such things as dashboard reflection on the windscreen, which may appear in certain positions or due to weather conditions, and helps to lessen glare on sunny days, making it possible to record clear outside images.

Front & Rear 2 Camera Recording
By connecting the optional rear camera KCA-R200 it is possible to record front and rear directions simultaneously, both in Wide Quad HD quality. The optional rear window camera KCA-R200 offers all-round protection to guard against everything from tailgaters and rear end impacts, to knocks and bumps in a car park. It uses a 161° ultra-wide viewing angle to capture the whole road behind. The compact rear window camera KCA-R200 has a 180° rotational lens for easy installation and can easily be connected to your DRV-A601W via a 8m long cable. When you connect the rear window camera KCA-R200, the resolution of your dashboard camera DRV-A601W will automatically adjust to manage two Wide Quad HD resolution video files.
